BAMORÉ was born from the admiration of the great luxury houses of the world, and deep respect for the successful African brands.
Our founder, trained inside Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey (INSIDE LVMH), saw one truth: too many African brands still follow the European luxury rulebook and that’s causing big problems today. And B’AMORÉ exist with the purpose to fix it.
The problems:
African luxury brands set steep prices to impress Europe — but exclude deserving Africans they claim to represent. Effectively telling their own people “You cannot afford your own culture”
To be a true luxury brand in African you must be validated by Europe — but not by “the Africans they are representing”.
Scarcity is used to shut doors — rather than to empower communities.
But at BAMORÉ, we are writing a new African rulebook for luxury particularly for Africa:
